The Four Color Stories
NCS's 2026 trends are built around four distinct themes:
- Quietude: Soft, meditative neutrals for calm spaces
- Homecoming: Warm, earthy tones that ground us
- Symbiosis: Nature-inspired greens connecting us to the environment
- Renegade: Bold, confident hues for the fearless
Which Palette Fits Your Style?
Choose Quietude if: You want a minimalist, Scandinavian-inspired kitchen with serene, timeless appeal.
Choose Homecoming if: You value warmth and tradition, and want your kitchen to feel cozy and welcoming.
Choose Symbiosis if: You're drawn to natural materials and want to bring the tranquility of nature indoors.
Choose Renegade if: You're ready to make a bold statement and aren't afraid of color.

Working with NCS in Cabinet Refinishing
One of the advantages of the NCS system is its precision. Unlike some color systems that vary between manufacturers, NCS provides exact color specifications that we can match perfectly during our refinishing process.
This means the color you fall in love with is exactly the color you'll get on your cabinets.
Combining NCS Colors
Don't feel limited to a single palette! Many of our clients create unique looks by combining colors from different NCS stories.
For example, pairing Quietude's soft creams with a Renegade accent color creates a sophisticated contrast that's both calming and dynamic.
